The floods that damaged property and caused evacuations in Wise County, Va., on July 28, 2022, drew a quick response from county emergency crews and officials. Now the county is working with property owners to return their homes and businesses to normal as quickly as possible. United Way of Southwest Virginia is raising funds and helping coordinate volunteers for this effort.
United Way of Southwest Virginia has activated a Wise County 2022 Disaster Relief fund to assist those impacted by the flooding. All donations to the Wise County 2022 Disaster Relief will go directly to support those affected by the Wise County 2022 flood.
This fund is separate from other disaster relief funds activated by United Way of Southwest Virginia.
All donations to the Wise County 2022 Disaster Relief Fund will go directly to support those impacted by the flood waters on July 28, 2022.
United Way of Southwest Virginia works with authorities and partners in Wise County to distribute funds.
